100% Tannat – Sulfite free

Maturing in 1-year-old French oak barrels for 12 months.

This wine has a garnet red robe and a powerful, rich and complex nose, that associates mature fruits and spices (vanilla, hints of liquorice in the background). When decanted, it will offer accents of undergrowth and tobacco, revealing its subtlety. This Madiran is fully-flavoured and rich on the palate.

Best served with grilled meat, as lamb, or with sheep’s cheese. Do not hesitate also original paring: a spicy dish like a Thai style curry, or with Pork Noir de Bigorre.
